Gadronics Dyson has unveiled one of its most futuristic products yet. It is a new purifier fan that can literally follow you around the room.
The new Dyson Find+Follow Purifier Cool combines cooling, air purification, and AI-powered tracking into a single device.
The device is designed to direct airflow exactly where it’s needed. Instead of manually repositioning the fan or adjusting oscillation settings, the machine automatically detects where you are. As you move, it then redirects purified air towards you.
According to Dyson, the system uses what it calls “Find+Follow” air projection technology. It works alongside an AI vision system capable of tracking movement through 17 key body points. Importantly, Dyson says the fan recognises movement patterns rather than personal identity. The device handles all image processing locally instead of uploading it to the cloud.
The concept is simple but genuinely useful in practice. Whether you’re cooking in the kitchen, working out, or moving between different parts of a room, the fan adjusts its airflow automatically to maintain cooling and comfort. Additionally, it can even detect multiple people simultaneously and split airflow between them. This also means it does not waste power cooling empty spaces.
That smarter airflow management also ties into energy efficiency. The fan automatically pauses targeted airflow when no one is present. This potentially reduces unnecessary power consumption compared to traditional oscillating fans that continuously cool an entire room.
Beyond the AI tricks, this is still very much a premium Dyson purifier. The machine uses a fully sealed HEPA H13 filtration system with K-Carbon filtration designed to capture gases, odours, VOCs, and ultrafine particles as small as 0.3 microns. Dyson also says it can capture 50% more NO₂ compared to previous filtration systems.
The purifier continuously monitors PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, NO₂, and formaldehyde levels in real time. Meanwhile, a quieter Night Mode dims the display and reduces noise output for bedroom use.
Like most recent Dyson launches, the fan also connects to the MyDyson app for remote controls and air quality monitoring.
