The Fotile X20 Max could be the most practical dishwasher around
Fotile has unveiled the next-gen X20 Max, a next-generation sink-type dishwasher designed to solve a problem most dishwashers overlook: traditional units simply don’t fit how many people actually cook.
Fotile took the time to watch how people use dishwashers in their kitchens. Most dishwashers just don’t fit real life, especially in kitchens where heavy-oil cooking is a daily thing or when space is tight. The Fotile X20 Max is an all-in-one station that does more than just wash dishes. It also combines washing, chopping, and draining in one ergonomic design that fits right where your sink is supposed to be.
Forget the usual built-in dishwasher that forces you to hunch over every time you use it. The X20 Max sits at waist height, thanks to its lift-top lid. No bending over, which is a big deal for seniors, pregnant users, or anyone tired of crouching to load plates.
The sleek, flush-mounted design also gives a more modern, seamless look while freeing up space under the sink for more storage.
Now, what truly makes it stand out is its ability to wash vegetables to remove pesticide residue. Fotile equips the X20 Max with micro-aerated bubble tech, a system designed to gently scrub veggies, seafood, and other ingredients.
With the unit’s dual layer, you can clean pots, pans, and dinnerware all at once without the fear of cross-contamination. Its hygiene performance reaches a 99.9999% sterilisation rate, making it suitable for baby bottles and sensitive cookware.
Beyond washing, the X20 Max is built as a full prep-and-wash station. Users can rinse, chop, drain, and cook in a single workflow, dramatically cutting down on kitchen movement and countertop mess. It’s designed for fast, renovation-free. Fotile says most people can slot it in within about three hours. No major renovations needed.

Ahead of release, Fotile welcomed the press to its headquarters to get a deeper look at how the brand is integrating its tech into these modern kitchen appliances. According to a report, it was highlighted how ‘ elements of Fotile’s in-sink dishwasher designs draw inspiration from Asian kitchen traditions, emphasising ergonomics, compactness, and multi-functionality while offering solutions relevant to urban homes worldwide.’
“Welcoming media guests to Ningbo has given them to see where the X20MAX was born, in the very environment that inspires our engineers and designers every day,” said Ms. Xu Feng, Head of Overseas Marketing Module at Fotile. “Experiencing the product in its home setting helps visitors understand the values behind it and how we think about ergonomics, space, and the real needs of families.”

With mindful design shaped by real feedback, the X20 Max isn’t just another appliance. It’s a smarter take on what a kitchen can be. If you care about convenience and comfort as much as clean dishes, this might just be the most useful dishwasher out there.
