How to make sure your car radio is compatible? —P3 camera supports AHD720P format only.
Turn on your car stereo, enter Factory Settings — Reverse Settings — Select Format.If your car stereo can select AHD-720P-25HZ/30HZ, it is compatible. On the contrary, it is not compatible if you can only select AHD-1080P-25HZ or CVBS-NTSC.You can choose P2 or P5 camera.
If the image on the screen is blurred in black and white, flickering or has horizontal or vertical stripes, it may be incompatible format. You can ask for replacement.
If your car stereo comes with a reverse trigger wire, usually the pink wire, find it and solder it to the trigger wire of the extension cable (the small red short wire next to the R-CA/AV connector).
If there is no image on the screen, check the display settings in addition to the camera. You can check if the camera is working properly by using other devices with RCA connectors, such as a TV.
The reversing camera P3 comes with 2 small wire (white and green).
*If you need the guide wire, please cut the white wire/loop;*If you need the front view camera, cut off the green wire/loop;*If you need a front view camera without guide wires, cut both the white and green wires/loops;Pay more attention: After you install the backup camera, or cut any loops, pls restart your monitor or radio. Or, it will not show correct image.
