Gadronics Summer might be long gone, but Ninja clearly isn’t ready to pack away the party.
The brand has unveiled the SLUSHi Max Smart Frozen Drink Maker, a bigger, smarter, and bolder version of its viral countertop slushie machine – and it might just be the ultimate year-round indulgence.
The original Ninja SLUSHi was a surprise hit earlier this year, earning glowing reviews for its fun design and foolproof frozen drinks. The new SLUSHi Max doubles down on that success, upping the capacity to a hefty 4.4 litres, which is enough for around a dozen drinks at once, and adding six smart presets to fine-tune everything from frozen cocktails to milkshakes.
At its heart is Ninja’s new SlushAssist technology, which automatically adjusts speed and blending to get the consistency just right, while RapidChill Pro ensures drinks reach frosty perfection in record time. There’s even a new Spiked Slush Max mode for cocktail lovers, and this upgraded model can now handle recipes with up to 20% ABV, making it just as suited to weekend margaritas as to kid-friendly smoothies.
Design-wise, the SLUSHi Max keeps the playful aesthetic that made the original a special media favorite, with pastel colorways including Blue & Peach, Orange & Blue, and Lemon & Mint. Right now, it’s exclusive to the US for $499.99.
The expanded capacity alone addresses one of the biggest complaints about the original’s smaller 2.5 litre jug. Now, there’s enough to go around for guests, parties, or just a week’s worth of iced coffee experiments.
So yes, it’s designed for summer, but when hot chocolate slushies and frozen espresso martinis are an option, who’s really waiting for the sun to come back out?
