Husqvarna has multiple new robot lawn mowers with smart vision AI
Husqvarna is going all out on smart lawn care with four new robot mowers that can now see, adapt, and mow using built-in AI vision technology.
Less than a year after launching the well-received Husqvarna Automower 405XE NERA, the company is back at it again with a new lineup of mowers: 405VE, 410VE, 430V, and 450V. These are the first Husqvarna robot mowers equipped with an AI vision system, ushering in a “new era” for the company.
These mowers are designed to see an interact with the environment around them, and – thanks to an infrared camera – can even work around the clock in pitch darkness. And when you pair them with Husqvarna’s EPOS satellite navigation system, the mowers can operate seamlessly even in areas with weak GPS signals, ensuring a perfectly even trim across the entire lawn.
The 405VE and 410VE NERA are designed for smaller lawns up to 900m² and 1,500m² respectively, featuring EdgeCut for neater borders and AI obstacle dodging, with the ability to handle slopes up to 30%.
If your garden is bigger than that, the 430V and 450V NERA models are more for you. These cover 4,800m² and 7,500m² respectively and come with enhanced zone control, more sophisticated AI navigation, and slope performance up to 50%.
Each model offers adjustable cutting heights with 20-55mm on the smaller versions and 20-60mm on the larger ones.
You’ll be able to pick one up from £2,299 to £4,799, once they’re out, but we don’t have a release date just yet.
