EcoFlow’s Delta Pro X is easy to install and runs for weeks
EcoFlow has introduced its “most powerful” whole-home battery system yet. It’s called Delta Pro Ultra X, and is built to bring serious backup without the usual hassle. Scheduling to installation can take as little as seven days, delivering big power without a months-long project.
Continuous output is rated at 12kW and can scale to 36kW with three inverters in parallel according to a press release. The efficiency is quoted at up to 97%, which aimed at squeezing more usable energy out of every charge. EcoFlow says this headroom covers high-demand appliances without soft starters, including things like water heaters and EV chargers.
Storage starts at 12kWh and scales all the way to 180kWh. In EcoFlow’s terms, that can cover up to a month of essentials, but it can also depend on how you use power. The idea is to keep the must-haves on while trimming the rest.
The Smart Home Panel 3 is the hub, which delivers 200-amp service with up to 32 controllable circuits. You can monitor and adjust each one in the app and keep critical loads running and shed non-essentials. EcoFlow says smarter routing can extend critical runtime by up to 42%.
You also get built-in timers, so energy-hungry chores happen during the day and taper off at night. An AI Time-of-Use mode automatically charges off-peak and discharges at peak based on local rates and forecasts. For heavy users, the company claims you could save up to $6,000 a year.
Solar support tops out at 10kW of input for faster refills. Under favorable conditions, two battery packs can reportedly charge to 80% in about an hour. Well, that ties the system neatly into existing PV setups.
Compatibility stays wide here, including previous-generation Delta Pro Ultra batteries, third-party generators, solar panels, and EV chargers. The modular quick-clip design lets owners add capacity or accessories later without major rewiring. It’s meant to flex as household needs change.
EcoFlow also highlights DIY yard solar to get around rooftop limits. The portable panels make it easy to place units where there’s airflow or a little elevation. Once you’re on the schedule, installation is a one-day job.
In the US, a network of 425+ certified installers backs this effort. EcoFlow says this approach can cut time and cost by up to 80% compared to traditional whole-home systems. And this aims for speed without skimping on coverage.
The Delta Pro Ultra X is available now via EcoFlow’s website. You can buy one for $7,999 for the inverter plus two batteries, $2,999 for Smart Home Panel 3, or $10,899 for a bundle with the inverter, Smart Home Panel 3, and two batteries through December 31. That’s the full package, from order to install, all in one go.
