A new leak reveals that one of Apple Watch’s most popular watch faces—Modular—is set to gain a variety of new color customization options in watchOS 27. Here are the details.

Apple is set to expand the customization options for its Modular watch face in watchOS 27.
Modular is a go-to face for a lot of users because of how versatile it is. Not only does it offer a lot of complication slots, but you can also personalize the face’s look with a lot of different color options.
Aaron Perris just discovered that iOS 27 beta 5 reveals nine new Modular color options coming in watchOS 27.
The beta doesn’t yet include previews of the nine new colors. However, Perris found references to their names in the beta code.
It’s possible some of these new colors also serve as a preview of new watch bands coming next month Apple Watch Series 12 or Apple Watch Ultra 4.
On a related note, Mark Gurman has reported that Apple has a new Modular face coming in watchOS 27 that takes inspiration from Modular Ultra.
