The latest Roombas are smaller, stronger, and better at mopping
iRobot has expanded its Roomba portfolio for 2026 with eight new models spanning three distinct tiers, bringing a combination of reduced chassis dimensions, higher suction power, and more advanced mopping systems across a range that now stretches from £229 to £799 in the UK.
The entry point for the updated lineup sits with the Roomba 115, a compact vacuum priced at £229 that targets apartments and smaller homes where straightforward daily upkeep is the priority, delivering up to 15,000 Pa of suction through a low-profile chassis capable of reaching clearances as shallow as 9 centimetres beneath furniture.
That compact approach carries through the entire 2026 range, with several models measuring up to 25% smaller in overall volume than their predecessors, a reduction iRobot attributes to customer research indicating that tighter modern floor plans and lower furniture are the primary obstacles to effective automated cleaning.
Roomba Plus
The mid-range Roomba Plus tier spans five models, the 415, 515, 575, 615, and 675 Combo Robots, all of which combine vacuuming and mopping in a single pass with suction ratings between 20,000 and 30,000 Pa, covering pet hair, tracked-in dirt, and dried spills across both hard floors and carpeted surfaces.
Navigation capability splits within the Plus range, with the 415 and 515 using ClearView LiDAR for room mapping and edge-to-edge coverage, while the 575, 615, and 675 add AI visual recognition alongside ClearView Pro LiDAR to identify and route around cables, shoes, and floor-level clutter without requiring manual intervention from the owner.
Mopping becomes considerably more sophisticated on the Plus 615 and 675, where roller mopping combines with pressurised hot-spray pre-treatment that loosens dried residue before scrubbing begins, with heated pad temperatures reaching up to 60 degrees Celsius to improve both cleaning performance and pad hygiene between cycles.
Roomba Max
The Roomba Max 715 and 775 sit at the top of the range, delivering 30,000 Pa of suction alongside the roller mopping and hot-spray systems introduced lower in the lineup, with the 775 adding a combo vacuum-and-mop configuration while both models feature upgraded filtration, odour-reducing bags, and hygienic debris handling suited to heavier daily cleaning demands.
AutoWash dock systems are available across the Plus and Max tiers, handling debris disposal, hot-water roller washing, and hot-air drying of mopping components, removing the need for owners to manually clean the robot between sessions in households where the device runs frequently.
The full 2026 Roomba range will begin rolling out across the UK and EMEA from mid-2026, with the Roomba 115 priced at £229, the Plus 415 Combo at £449, the Plus 515 Combo at £549, the Plus 575 Combo at £599, the Plus 615 Combo at £599, the Plus 675 Combo at £699, the Max 715 at £549, and the Max 775 Combo at £799, though iRobot notes that final timing and pricing may vary by market.
