Online Maps: Compared to traditional PND, P8 can have access to online maps like Google Maps, through CarPlay or Android Auto. Offline Map is essential since many users drive in the area where cellular data is hard to access and care about data fees. Thus we offer offline maps to download, covering the U.S., Japan, and most other countries. The availability and changes of offline maps are subject to Google Maps. Traditional offline map update is a huge cost and PND users won’t update maps until replacing for a new one. But on P8, offline map update is totally free!

Apps that are not compatible with CarPlay/Android Auto can easily be projected onto the P8’s large screen through Auto Link (upgrade needed). Freely watch videos and navigate on the P8’s large screen for a clearer view on a bigger display. All wirelessly and without hassle.

With P8 installed in your car, you are no longer forced to replace your PND every one or two years in order to keep up with the latest consumer electronics functions, because all future updates and features are seamlessly integrated with your phone through CarPlay or Android Auto.

With a micro SD card (up to 128G) in P8, both the rear and front cameras auto-record and overwrite old footage, with adjustable loop time. Connect the rear cam to your vehicle’s backup light, P8 activates in reverse and provides live views while driving. Adjustable guidelines ensure safe parking and maneuvers. The camera can even be submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes without issue, withstanding heavy rains and snow.

AC-44F6 wireless remote control serves as a perfect solution for you to quickly access P8, instead of reaching out to P8 to make an operation, which is quite dangerous. Thanks to the build-in receiver in P8, simply turn on P8 and you can use AC-44F6 remote control right away! No complicated wiring job. Either wrap it around the steering wheel with the watchband, or stick it at a handy location. Luminous buttons give you a clear view even during night driving!

With a built-in light sensor, P8 smartly adapts screen brightness according to surrounding lights. The screen becomes dimmer when you drive from bright sunlight to a tunnel and lighter when into the sunlight again. We offer this upgraded function because we can’t imagine the potential danger of diverting you from the road for 3 seconds to manually adjust brightness while driving at high speeds.

Note: Any blockage of the light sensor area could affect it as it depends on detecting light changes.
